More Sophisticated and Wise?
While the level of sophistication for most online visitors are at an all time high, there are still many that will visit sites with advertising tag lines such as make easy money online. As an internet marketing professional I used to laugh at this type of advertising copy, but with its ability to draw tons of traffic I must take notice and create my own ad pieces, like this one, as well.
A quick search of this key phrase through a keyword suggestion tool will show that the phrase "make easy money online" nets somewhere around 1,000 searches or more per month. When you add in other, similar phrases like "make money easy" and "how to make easy money" it's very easy to see why advertisers would create advertising pieces and articles surrounding such phrases. Bottom line is that these emotionally tugging phrases bring in a lot of traffic to a website.
With that said, I am still surprised that so many still click onto an ad or link where these phrases are used, after all aren't we suppose to have developed a certain level of common sense as we grow older and "wiser?" I mean when you see a phrase like how to make easy money online isn't a red flag suppose to go up or something? Don't we all know that there is no such thing as get rich quick programs out there? Are advertisers simply exploiting the simple flaws of our human character or are they practicing sound marketing techniques?
Are Marketers to Blame
Maybe one of the things that the marketing and advertising professionals are doing here is simply tapping into a rather large group of opportunity seekers and nothing more. If a demographic that surrounds business opportunities responds to emotionally charged key phrases like "how to make easy money online" and an advertiser subsequently develops advertising pieces based on the positive statistical numbers, isn't that just good marketing research applied to the real world? If so many still believe that there is an easy way to make money online, then could it be possible that there in fact are easy ways to make money online?
First, I don't like the word easy no matter what field it is applied to, but in terms of working online it could just be a matter of perspective. I market and promote many different programs and products online and some have been much "easier" to market than others. In terms of creating advertising pieces and articles, using these key phrases like "make easy money online" are much simpler and "easier" to draw traffic to than other phrases. I used to be a plumber in the construction industry and when I compare my work online to the work I did in the construction business I can assure you that this is easy.
Defining What Easy Money Is
I know very few people, whether they be marketing professionals or your every day variety of internet surfer, that wouldn't like to make easy money online, the problem is all about perspective. There simply is no such thing as get rich quick or learning how to make easy money. Yes, this may be easier than plumbing an apartment building, but building a business online still requires much effort and dedication. Just learning the techniques to effectively market a program or product online can be quite challenging and it will take time to learn how to become proficient with most skills that are required for online success.

Funny thing about success online, the same principles that work off-line when building a business apply online as well. Things like a strong work ethic, a desire to succeed, patience and commitment work in the virtual world the same as they do in a more traditional setting.
